Competitive golf opportunities

 

Members enjoy a monthly club tournament that provides consistent competitive play in a friendly, well-run environment. The club also hosts bus trips to other courses and satellite tournaments, giving members chances to experience different layouts and expand their schedule beyond Los Verdes.

The club is proud to have earned the SCGA Team Play trophy (2023). Participation also comes with meaningful rewards—last year the club awarded nearly $37,000 in prize money and course scrip.

Monthly meetings and club culture

 

The club holds unique, themed monthly meetings on the second Wednesday of each month. These meetings are both informative and social, keeping members engaged while adding variety and fun to the club experience.

 

Transparency, expectations, and the Rules of Golf

 

Membership in the Los Verdes Men’s Golf Club does not include discounted golf rates or preferential tee times. The club does, however, arrange tee times for many sanctioned club events and tournaments held throughout the year.

 

The value of membership comes from participation, competition, and connection—not preferential access. Club members play by the USGA Rules of Golf, with no exceptions.
